PTPN announces management change
PTPN, the country’s premier network of private practice therapists, has announced the retirement of Nancy Rothenberg from her role as Vice President, as well as the appointment of Stevyn Voyles to the Vice President position.
After nearly 34 years of dedicated service and leadership with PTPN, Rothenberg has reached her long-planned goal of retiring from her position in order to pursue personal interests and other passions.
“While I am thrilled for her personally that she is able to make this move, I am of course saddened to lose her as a professional colleague and trusted co-pilot,” said PTPN President Michael Weinper, PT, DPT, MPH. “It is difficult, if not impossible, to sum up Nancy’s achievements over more than three decades. She has been essential in spearheading PTPN’s growth from a California startup to a national network representing of thousands of therapists, and she was responsible for developing the innovative systems and methods via which PTPN delivers benefits to our members.”
Rothenberg views her contributions to the success and longevity of private practice therapy offices as one of her finest achievements. She is also proud of the development of the staff at PTPN. “I hope this will be what I’m most remembered for: the service I’ve given over the years to PTPN members and staff. I’m confident that our members will continue to benefit from the commitment, knowledge and capabilities of PTPN moving forward,” she said.
Voyles will take over the position of PTPN Vice President on January 1, 2021. Since 1989, she has been the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Progressive Physical Therapy, a clinical practice owned by Dr. Weinper with four locations in Southern California. She is also an experienced consultant in the areas of billing, collections, human resources, operations, policies, procedures and compliance.
Dr. Weinper said, “Given my 31-year history of working with her, I can tell you with confidence that Stevyn possesses an impressive level of management and operations expertise that will help PTPN continue to grow and deliver value to members, contractors and others.”
Voyles added, “I have worked closely with PTPN for decades and always admired the organization’s commitment to promoting therapy as an essential component of the healthcare system. I’m excited to help carry that torch forward.”
